It is pleasant to walk between the beautiful white villas that line the streets of Llafranc. During the walk, you can admire some buildings that stand out from the crowd, such as the Santa Rosa de Lima Church, dating from the 19ᵉ century, or the casas Rosa and Bravo in Plaça Promontori. There are also wonderful other casas by the sea on the Passeig de Cipsela.

One of the most beautiful experiences in Llafranc is to climb the Sant Sebastià mountain to watch the sunset. Only a 10-minute walk from the Port of Llafranc, the 168-metre-high Mirador del Cap de Sant Sebastià will leave you speechless. If you continue a little further up the mountain, you will come across the most powerful lighthouse on the entire Costa Brava : the Far de San Sebastià. Built in 1857, it is capable of illuminating ships from over 60 km away ! If you like hiking, the cami de Ronda GR-92 is the perfect place for you. This trail runs along the Mediterranean coastline for over 540 km and offers unforgettable views.
The rich history of the town of Llafranc
For history lovers, discover the archaeological remains of the small Iberian village of Sant Sebastià de la Guarda. Discovered only fifty years ago, it continues to arouse the curiosity of its visitors. The remains date back to the 5ᵉ century BC. You can also have a picnic with your family on this site thanks to the tables that have been set up. Not far away, it is also possible to see the medieval-style Torre de Sant Sebastià, which now houses a 4-star hotel.
